To successfully promote offshore wind power projects, reaching consensus with local communities during the initial planning phase is crucial. In particular, establishing cooperative relationships with local fishery stakeholders is a key factor.
This course provides foundational knowledge of the marine environment and aquatic resources related to the fisheries industry, relevant laws and systems, and examples from different regions. Through interactive workshops, participants will also generate ideas for supporting local fisheries and fostering mutual understanding between offshore wind developers and local communities.
