A4-Seabed investigation and analysis, and offshore construction is currently undergoing content modification in order to provide a more complete course, and we will resume accepting applications as soon as the course is ready.
Learning how to select a foundation structure for offshore wind and installing the foundations.
This course is offered in cooperation with IHC IQIP of the Netherlands and Japan Offshore Drilling Co. Based on data such as water depth, seabed, and meteorological/oceanographic conditions at the construction site, we will select the most suitable foundation structure from several types. Special equipment such as lifting tools and hammers are required for efficient construction. The know-how of IHC IQIP, which has extensive experience in Europe, and the experienced marine engineering and civil engineering experts from Japan Offshore Drilling, which has drilled oil and gas wells in the world’s oceans, will provide the most up-to-date knowledge on the design and construction of offshore wind farms.
”On-Site” is a hands-on training program that is unique to Nagasaki, which has actual sea areas.
Here’s what some of the participants from across the country saying about the Seabed investigation and analysis and offshore construction course.
I found it very meaningful because there were many practical contents that I could not get from other seminars or lectures. At first, I felt that the cost was too high, but after the seminar, I felt that the cost effectiveness was sufficient. (Shipbuilding, heavy machinery)
Although the participants had various levels of knowledge and experience, I think we could learn from the contents according to our respective levels and positions. I am satisfied with this course. (General trading company)
In the case studies, I was able to gain new perspectives on how other participants in the power generation business and other industries think, which was meaningful. (Plant construction and maintenance)
I was a little worried about how the remote training would go, but I was satisfied with the two-way communication and the sense of realism, which made for a fulfilling training experience. My only regret is that if we had been able to meet in Nagasaki, we would have been able to build more personal networks with everyone. (Engineering)
Thank you for a meaningful lecture that deepened my understanding throughout. It was good that the same explanation was repeated several times in different sections, and the part in question was particularly memorable. (Renewable Energy Developer)
The audio and screen were very clear and easy to understand. Also, it was easy to ask questions by using the chat function of Zoom. Thank you very much for conducting the case study despite the limitations of the software operation. (Major electric power company)
Networking was difficult, but it was nice to be able to participate anywhere from home. (Insurance)
Thank you very much for the training, it was very much appreciated in the difficult environment of web hosting. (Engineering)
Unfortunately, I was not able to attend onsite, but I am glad that there were no problems with the screen and audio despite the urgency of the online lecture. (Oil company)
※Registration closes four business days prior to the first day of the course.
